Arts in Education is the practice of exploring core curriculum through the arts. I Have worked with students from pre-school to high school to facilitate learning through a wide variety of hands on learning experiences with materials ranging from paper and book making, to quilting, drawing, painting, sculpture, and mosaic making. Art allows students to engage creatively in learning. I am a witness to the transformative power of art as a process of learning. Art facilitates observation, critical thinking, and creative problem solving.
